Prabh Lahari
Mastery:Prabh Lahari
Prabh Lahari completed a 200-hour Hatha Yoga TTC in Malaysia (2014) & a 200-hour Multi-style Yoga TTC in Rishikesh, India (2015), both under the tutelage of Deepak Kumar. Since then, she has been a full time yoga teacher & has also studied pranayama, meditation & yin yoga with Deep, as well as Magic Ball Therapy with Zhen Yong.
Her journey into mediation and the arts took flight when she met the mystical Baul people in Rishikesh. Since then, she has been exploring the mysteries of Tantric philosophy & meditation through methods which involve the breath, physical movement & the arts. Besides leading kirtan sessions, Lahari is also currently delving deeper into the intricacies of Indian classical dance under the tutelage of Madam Geetha Shankaran-Lam, as well as tabla & Hindustani vocals under the instruction of Mr Raina Arvinder.
When not teaching yoga & facilitating meditation sessions, Lahari moonlights as a writer of yoga teacher training manuals & other yoga-related content. She also maintains her own personal website where she writes on yogic philosophy.
Lahari is also a self-taught visual artist who believes that the arts is a medium which should not only provoke different ideas & thoughts but also invoke a sense of child-like wonder towards the beauty of life. Being a multi-disciplinary student, Lahari turns to the visual arts as another form of expression which can either complement language & sound, or be a standalone statement which the latter can never accomplish
